Does anyone here have a planner/organizer/journal that they just love?
I use the Commit30 for my personal planner, but I also always have a home planner/calendar and one for my bell choir. I’m not thrilled with the ones that I used for home and bells last year, and I’m always looking for something better and some inspiration.
Wish I could be helpful.
I might look for a garden planner. While looking, I’ll let you know if I come across any others that I would have loved for work/school/activities etc.
My last “planner” was my desk calendar. You know the giant type? I loved that at work for home-related things. My work calendar was tied with email. Then at home I used google calendar but that drove me insane because I’d always set reminders and it gave me anxiety to have it always popping up!
With me home now and only the two kids, I rely on text messages and I take/save images of school events. It’s quite a different world these days. Haha
I do remember seeing a planner I loved a few years ago. I’ll see if I can find it again. I thought I might have shared it here before, but it didn’t come up in search. It had high ratings and excellent reviews.
I’ve spent years beating myself up for not finding one system, and this year I’ve made peace with the fact that I use multiple ones.
This is the current physical planner I use. I use it for everything I’m concerned with. I don’t necessarily write down every detail but it gives me a good picture of the week. I’ve only been using it for 6 weeks. I like it so far but not live it.
I use the box on the left for weekly to-do’s and cross the off as I go.
I use the big box for me or family events (not much going on this week, LOL)
I use the first small grid for logistics - is it a mom day or dad day, am I working from home or in the office.
Owen and Oliver each have their own grid of their stuff.
I like that I can keep things “separate” but on the same day.
Mine is a simple book style from Dollar Tree. It has plenty of room for what we do, and a side column for notes. It has the next year in the back, along with pages for important numbers, etc.
