In the US, the Mega Millions jackpot is up to one billion dollars. Yep. You read that right. One billion.
Do any of you play the lottery? It feels like, with a billion dollar jackpot, I’d have to be crazy not to buy at least one ticket.

We have ours. 
We normally don’t. Seems like maybe in the past we did once or twice. Have bought a few scratch off tickets in the past too. Hubby is more of the thinking of how that much money would just mess up our simple life…and…don’t laugh…but I am not even sure where to buy or how to buy a Ticket? Don’t you have to pick numbers or something? I really don’t think our 1 store sells more than scratch off tickets that you buy in a machine? But I really do not know for sure…

I’m with you Auntie. I’ve never bought a lottery ticket and wouldn’t know how. I was gifted one once and won $2. I cashed it in and that was the end of that.

We buy them about once a year. Not regular players at all. Just silly fun when the jackpot is high.

Saturday when hubby and I were in the car there was a story about the lottery on the radio. Hubby said “should we buy a ticket?” I was remembering this thread…I said “ I don’t know should we?” He said”1.6 billion”. I asked him “where do you buy a Ticket?” He said “I don’t know”…end of conversation. I guess we won’t be buying a ticket since neither of us even knows where to buy one…LOL…

we bought tickets for 3 different ones, and hit nothing in all three. so I think we are done.

So I saw a small line of people at the lotto ticket machine at our local grocery store. So I guess that’s where you buy tickets around here, I thought it only sold scratch off tickets for some reason but then saw the 1.6 billion flashing on the top.
