> **[The Untold Truth Of Aldi - Mashed](https://www.mashed.com/79564/untold-truth-aldi/)** > > Aldi is making moves to become a major competitor in the U.S. grocery market, but there's a fascinating history behind this up-and-coming U.S. chain. I’m not very current on stores anymore, but I didn’t realize Trader Joe’s was Aldi-related. A neat article about Aldi, their prices and some of their history. Our Aldi has short hours. They close really early. ---

Yes, I do remember that Aldi and TJ are related. Just didn’t remember how. Love our Aldi’s. They just remodeled and expanded the store, and I still get a little lost! ---

I love Aldi’s too. I wish we had one closer but I try to get to one every couple of months and stock up. Just did a run last Saturday, we combined other errands to make it worth it.
