In the US, the Mega Millions jackpot is up to one billion dollars. Yep. You read that right. One billion. Do any of you play the lottery? It feels like, with a billion dollar jackpot, I’d have to be crazy not to buy at least one ticket. ---

We normally don’t. Seems like maybe in the past we did once or twice. Have bought a few scratch off tickets in the past too. Hubby is more of the thinking of how that much money would just mess up our simple life…and…don’t laugh…but I am not even sure where to buy or how to buy a Ticket? Don’t you have to pick numbers or something? I really don’t think our 1 store sells more than scratch off tickets that you buy in a machine? But I really do not know for sure… ---

I’m with you Auntie. I’ve never bought a lottery ticket and wouldn’t know how. I was gifted one once and won $2. I cashed it in and that was the end of that. ---

We buy them about once a year. Not regular players at all. Just silly fun when the jackpot is high. ---

Saturday when hubby and I were in the car there was a story about the lottery on the radio. Hubby said “should we buy a ticket?” I was remembering this thread…I said “ I don’t know should we?” He said”1.6 billion”. I asked him “where do you buy a Ticket?” He said “I don’t know”…end of conversation. I guess we won’t be buying a ticket since neither of us even knows where to buy one…LOL… ---

we bought tickets for 3 different ones, and hit nothing in all three. so I think we are done. we don’t have the money to keep throwing into the pot… ---

So I saw a small line of people at the lotto ticket machine at our local grocery store. So I guess that’s where you buy tickets around here, I thought it only sold scratch off tickets for some reason but then saw the 1.6 billion flashing on the top. ---

DH won $4 and bought Powerball tickets with it. 🙂
